Questions
Does it tag customers and orders I already have?
Yes, on the Growth and Pro plans: one click applies a rule to existing customers and the last 60 days of orders. On every plan, new and changed orders, customers, and edited products are tagged as they happen.
Do I need this if I use Shopify Flow?
Maybe not. Flow is free on the Basic, Grow, Advanced, and Plus plans and handles many tagging jobs well. The app saves setup time when you have several rules, nested conditions, or existing customers and the last 60 days of orders to tag. Can I check a rule before it runs?
Yes. Preview a rule on a recent sample of your orders, customers, or products, or on one specific record, before you save it. A rule starts tagging as soon as it is saved.
Can I see why something was tagged?
Yes. The Activity log lists every tag the app added or removed.
Does a tag come off when a record stops matching?
Yes. When a record no longer matches a rule, the app removes the tag that rule added. You can also set a tag to expire after a number of days.
What does the Free plan include?
Two active rules and 100 tag applications a month. One-click apply to existing customers and the last 60 days of orders is on the Growth and Pro plans.
Can a rule use the order note?
Not today. A condition on an order can use its tags, total price, or line item product tags; on a customer, their tags or number of orders; on a product, its tags, product type, vendor, or total inventory.
What happens to my tags if I uninstall?
Tags the app already added stay in your store, and you can review or remove them in your Shopify admin. Uninstalling stops all new tagging.
